Civil War: Soldiers and Sailors Database
The Soldiers and Sailors Database maintained on the National Park Service website contains the records of six million men who served both sides during the Civil War. Other collections include African American Sailors, Regiments, Cemeteries, Battles, Prisoners (Fort McHenry and Andersonville POW camps), Medals of Honor, and Monuments.
